Looking for somthing new and different in Utah haunted houses? We are about to bring it!

You should have One missed call room where you walk into a pitch black room and a sensor is in the ground you hit the censor and at the other end of the room is a cell phone sitting on a table it lights up and the one missed call ringtone plays for like 15 seconds and then you hear a women or man scream the lights come on and there is blood splattered all over the walls and have a character that looks like the one missed call lady that was in the old hosptial come out along with maybe a character that is dying on the floor.
I always love your show from year to year. It always keeps me on my toes from start to finish. And if I have a date, she has no choice but to grab on to me. One suggestion I could make is to maybe start doing a daytime kid-friendly version during the day on select days like some other notable haunted houses across the country do. The daytime show would be made so that small children could go through without being traumatized for life. During this time many of the special effects would be disabled, more lights would be on and tour guides would take the children through to show them how some of the props and special effects work. If I were in charge of starting this up, I would call it the ‘Not-so-Nightmare on 13th’ daytime matinee. I would run it from something like 11 A.M. to 4 P.M. on Friday and Saturday then the lights would go out and the rest of the monsters would come to life for the main show. This is only a suggestion, of course.
I agree with Mike…a kid friendly version of the haunted house would be a great idea! This would even be good for those teenagers who want to be cool and go to a haunted house, but are too scared to go in at night….with all the effects in full run…
Admittedly, there are probably some who would say to just go to another haunted house, but it would be helpful to ease fears if they could come in during the day and be shown how it all works and that it is fake…. Just a suggestion from a concerned parent!

Ahh me and my friends are going sep 18 and were exited and already scared.This is my first year & I’m sooooooo exited!! I’m only 13 so I hope instead of grabbing a monster I actually grab my boyfriend lol! So exited!!
More effects and different rooms. I’ve gone for about four years now, and I can pretty much just tell where not to step and when not to step certain places. Even when I first went, I could tell.
Different rooms would be nice, Like new fears. A snake or rat room, where you feel “slithering” or “scurrying” air at your feet. A hair room.. Just gross. A Classroom haha. Seriously, if you had a twisted classroom. An eyeball room where you’re just stared at.
I just made these up as an example., i know they suck.
i think it would be amazing if teenagers 14 and up. it would be amzing because me and my friend want to work there but we r too young…i’m going on the 18th along with my friends and cannot wait to see what u have instore for us this year. and i’m making a shot out to one of the awesomest ppl that work ay nighmate wooo matt u r awesome.

honestly I dont believe in Mike’s and Liz’s idea,if they are shown how it all works,it would ruin the whole idea of a haunted house for a child,the whole point of a haunted house is not to know how things go or where they go,the whole point and passion of a haunted house is to scare and frighten,thats the whole fun of it as well,and the beauty of it.
if your kids are really scared and frightened,then thats point,if they are to the point of near bawling,thats the parents fault for taking them,or for letting them go,but garunteed no matter how scared they are,they will want to go again,but in terms of business,it is a good plan,plus,it would attract employees who know alot about tech and acting as well,so overall,not a bad plan,but still kinda ruins it,but anyways…

Hey!! I totally agree with Mike. I have a 4 year old sister and I know she would absolutely love something like that!!! A lot of people will definitely go for it. My family would!! We’d plan a whole field trip!!!!
OMB you guys rock last nights show was so amazing, yo guys truly are the scarriest haunt around and I’ve been to some preety intense houses. I’m from D.C wooo hooo!! The trip to your house was defnetly worth it.
We’ve been to this one about 3 times and just bought our tickets online today. It’s a great haunted house and the effects are wonderful! Here’s to another GREAT HAUNTED HALLOWEEN!!!

YOU SHOULD HAVE ACTUAL DEAD BODIES THERE AND PUT WIRES IN THEM AND MAKE THEM MOVE AND HAVE REAL BLOOD COME OUT OF THEIR MOUTH AND EYES
Hey, you guys are my favorite haunted house, i go to you guys every year, and i can never wait to go.
But last year, (its not just you guys) you had a few people confusing acting and scaring with calling people ugly and fat and reffered to their looks.
They were rude and it ruined the whole experience for me and my friends.
That obviously wasn’t scary, it takes no talent to do that, and it makes me almost be cautious about going back cause i dont know if any of your “actors” are going to be rude to me or one of my friends, frankly, it pisses us off.
You guys are AMAZING, please dont let some stupid kids ruin it for us…

me and my best friend r going and r way excited this is our first year and were both really scared! but it’s gonna be awesome! were only 13 and both terrified of clowns, and me freddy krueger cause ive seen all the movies and i agree u should make a one missed call room! were excited so don’t freak us out to much!! :}
I went to nightmare on 13th last night and it was scary but i went to one at lagoon for frightmares and it was almost the same, it only had a few differences. other than that it was awesome

I’ve never been to Nightmare on 13th, but I have heard its really good for haunted houses, looking at some of the clips on the homepage of the website, makes me want to go see for myself how good it is. I’m excited to go with friends, seems like it will be a good scaring.

U guys should put a bloody valentine man so u guys could scare the crap out of them. Then put chucky inside the mansoin and chuks wife and son. Then put it all dark with fake spider web and some traps in the house. Then u guys should send them back if they get in a trap let them begin where it started ha ha ha ha ah!!!!!!

So I have been to Nightmare on 13th twice - once in 2006 and once in 2007. The first time was truly amazing - so much in fact that my freinds and I convinced about 15 of our friends to try it out the next year. What a mistake. When we went in 2007 they did not break up the patrons into groups AT ALL. We ended up walking single file through the WHOLE attraction and several times we actually had to stand and wait for the line to move. Needless to say it kinda ruins the experience when you are forced to see all the “jump” moments minutes in advance. And on top of that, as Harley mentioned, some of the actors were just plain rude. When you are stuck standing in a room with them for 5 minutes waiting for the line ahead to move again, things can get ugly. I had to apologize profusely to my friends for wasting both their time and their money. I really would like to give Nightmare on 13th another chance…but I’m a little hesitant.

Oh my gosh! i came here like, three years ago and wanted to come back ever since! my favorite part about other haunted houses is the illusion rooms. i cant quite remember if there are any in this haunted house, but there should be! at rocky point, i remember this one tunnel and it was spinning and you walked on a straight path and everyone was falling over because it felt like it was moving to. i love this place and i have been trying for about a week to get my friend to come. it has not worked, and if i dont get someone to go with me, i cant go! it is so annoying! i just wish it wasnt so pricy…. but i really do love this haunted house!!!
MANDA doesnt know what the hell she is talking about it was completly diffrent then frightmares They had some awesome attractions and the people working in side did an awesome job scaring everyone who walked in there. the service was excellent and i cant wait to come back on november friday the 13th.

Your chainsaw guy sucked, he didn’t move an inch. He just stood there and reved the chainsaw. He was a big fat guy. You definately need to fire him!
Eh.. Fun. Not as much scary.. but still awsome! The Room with flashing lights with the white curtains was hard.. and other mazes, but if you find the people who work there trying to hide, sneak up behind them and scare them LOL it’s fun. Good job
I think that you should start with getting courteous employees that don’t yell at you. We were 5 feet behind the group in front of us and had an employee follow us through two rooms yelling at us to hurry up… Shame on me for trying you again.
I am going tonight with my three friends….. i heard there is a mirror maze and the more i think about it, the more it could actually be scary…. you see someone in the mirror, but turn around and they are not there! i really cant wait to go… im leaving in fifteen minutes!! I am just worried about the lines cuz i heard they are bad, and we were gonna buy the tickets online to get the free pass, but how is it free when you have to pay a service fee?? overall, i am really excited to go, but getting more scared by the minute.
